Skolkovo signs agreement with Ariel R&D (TheMarker, Hebrew). Skolkovo’s IT cluster director Alexander Turkot and Ariel University Transfer Technologies Center  “Ariel R&D company” CEO Alexander Zinigrad signed a cooperation agreement in Tel Aviv on August 22. The agreement signals a significant step forward for the ecosystem being heralded as «The Russian Silicone Valley».

Ariel to bring Moscow to Israeli Hi-Tech. The Ariel University Center is slated to sign a partnership with Moscow's Skolkovo high-tech center tomorrow that would give Israeli start-ups access to billions in Russian funding.

The Israeli government is interested in building relations with Skolkovo. The Israeli leaders noted the importance of the Skolkovo project and their potential interest in integrating national science into the activities of the Russian technopark. Given the number of Russians who now live and work in Israel, one can easily imagine the scale of future projects that might come about in the wake of such meetings.

Skolkovo Fund delegation and Israeli leadership discuss cooperation. Skolkovo Fund President Viktor Vekselberg discussed prospects for cooperation in the sphere of innovation development with Israeli authorities. The delegation of the Skolkovo Fund met with President Shimon Peres as well as held talks with Minister of Industry, Trade and Labour Shalom Simhon and ministry’s Chief Scientist Avi Hason.
